Social addiction is good.
When we mention social addiction, people might think it’s a bad thing. The word ‘addiction’ is a strong word, and it sounds negative; therefore, it’s not wrong for someone to feel like that. However, although social addiction is the blame and seems to be the problem, the social that you are addicted to is actually the main problem.
Social is a thing no one cannot avoid no matter what. Even if you are an extreme introvert who comes out once a year, you can’t avoid socializing. You have your own social, your own life, maybe it’s online, but it’s still social. Therefore, socializing is inevitable, and everyone has some kind of society to be addicted to.
The main problem that makes you become a worse person, and put the blame on your social-addict behavior, is the things that you decide to put in your mind. You are the same person as the information you consume, people you are with, books you read, and things you eat. You say that social addiction makes you unproductive. That’s because your social life is full of unproductivity, and you are the one who develops this loser-life-choice behavior yourself. Social addiction is just a habit. It’s not the blame — you are the blame.
If you decided to consume knowledgeable information, be around productive people, read good books, and eat healthily, you will be inspired to be serious about your life. Failure is not luck, it’s a life choice. If you don’t accept failure, you will get up and be a better person rather than complaining. Get rid of your loser social addiction, and addict to a successful one. Choose the things around you, information, friends, books, food, and choices. Start being serious about your life.
