Are you proud of yourself?
When talking about things to be proud of, we might take some time to think of good things happened in our life. Everybody was probably asked this kind of question at least once in a lifetime. One can talk about good things about themselves all day, it is easier than to talk about their bad things.
There are so many things to be proud of, and you should have some to be. Gratitude is important to your mind, and your soul. Think of anything that you have, who you are happy to be with, or even abstract things that keep your mind running. Be thankful, be pleased, and be proud of them. One can be proud of their wealth, their possessions, and their jobs. One can be proud of their family, their love, and their people. One can be proud of themselves, their skills, their strengths, and their ability to control their ego. It is totally okay, even great, to be proud of something. Because, it means that you have gratitude.
But, that’s not all. There is more to be proud of. There is more to be thankful for, other than those good things, the bad things. Those things that you want to avoid talking about. Things that you are not proud of, be proud of them. Fear, be proud of it because it means that you have feelings. Weakness, be proud of it because it means that you are self-aware. Mistake, be proud of it because it means that you learn the lesson to be better. Most importantly, be proud of your life.
With all those good and bad things you have, embrace them, and be proud of them. Be proud of the good things that make you happy and healthy. Be proud of the bad things that come to make you fix them, and get stronger. Be proud that you are still breathing, that means you are still alive. Take ownership, be proud, and be strong.
Gratitude is a must.
