Changing yourself is easier than you think

Change is hard for both physical and abstract things. It might take some time to change something, maybe a long time. It is not that anything can be changed just by thinking, no. It needs time and effort.

.

It took 315,000 years for the first humans in prehistoric times to begin history. It took years for a kingdom to be established. It took years for a country to develop its regime. Something is not just changed by one big action, it consists of hundreds, maybe thousands of small thoughts and power. But there is one thing that you can change now. It only takes one second. And, that thing is, you.

.

The easiest thing yet hardest and most neglected change in the world is, sadly, you. People are messing around worrying about changing outside things that they actually cannot control, even if they could, it would take so much time to adjust. They know that it takes time and effort to change things yet they are determined to do it.

.

It’s good, a determination is a thing that pushes the world. A stubborn aggressive determination, hungry for success and changes, is the main source of power that will push you to the goal. And, people are full of that trait when it comes to trying to change others. No matter for better or worse, the determination is strong.

.

However, when it comes to changing themselves, where have all those determinations gone? You try your best to change things around you even though it will take so long, you are willing to do it. But, when it comes to changing yourself, suddenly, excuses are coming from everywhere. Don’t have enough time, not enough money, not enough sleep, or sometimes you are just “not feeling it”.

.

The thing is you won’t feel good all the time. That’s just excuses. You cannot count on your feeling, count on your discipline. Do you know how long it takes to change yourself? ONE SECOND. That’s it, just one second. The second that you decided to change your mindset and be better.

.

That second, you get up, and you changed. The problem is you are just saying things, you are never actually willing to change. “I Want to exercise every day”, then exercise every day. “I want to read one hour a day”, then read. “I want to wake up early”, then wake up early. That’s it. It’s that easy to change yourself.

.

All those excuses that you came up with to prevent you from actually doing it, are LIES. They are just nothing but lies. The only thing that’s stopping you, is you.
