What would you do for money?

I was asked an interesting question, and now that I am thinking, I want to write something about it.

Would you rather go back to 10 years or jump to 50 with 10M? I don’t know about you guys, but it’s an easy choice for me. I would go back to 10 years old. Actually, jumping to 50 years old sounds good, especially with that much money. It’s $10 million, MILLIONS. That’s a lot of money. I’m quite sure that I can make that money grow and use them until I die.

But, I don’t get to make any decisions before that day. If I select that choice and I just time-warp immediately to that point of my life, it’s actually sad. I don’t know how I get here, what decisions I’ve made in my life, who I’ve met during the time that I skipped. I just got here, now. The most important thing to me between these two choices is the decision. I’m proud of every decision that I’ve made throughout my life that makes me here today.

Therefore, if I get back to 10 years old again, I’m quite sure that I will know what to do. Especially, if the decision makes me jump back in time, that means I know the future! What could be better than that, right? If I jump to 50, I won’t even know my past. At least I know the future with the other choice. I could just buy a whole lot of Bitcoin, then the $10 million in my 50s would be worthless. I would get the money and the decisions.

Actually, these are just my thoughts. This kind of question depends on who is answering. Maybe it’s because I’m still in my 20s, going back to 10 isn’t sound that bad. But, skipping almost 30 years of my life sounds horrible! That’s why I choose the first choice. However, if the person answering is in their 40s, skipping a few years and get $10M doesn’t sound bad. Actually, it is great. At the end of the day, still, no one could do that. So, these kinds of questions are just for fun, don’t think too much about it. Let’s keep it in your mind and move on with your life.
